Leading car Rental Service players have changed issued a notification regarding the amount of security deposit that the customers will have to pay in order hire their cars all across Australia. The company has recently made an announcement in this regard that these changes will be effective from 01 May 2010.
The security deposit amount will be now $385(including GST) instead of exiting amount of $330.The change is applicable to all the Europcar outlets in Australia.
Hence forward, the customers who lease a car from any of their outlets will now have to pay more price as deposit amount.
The company sources have clarified that this change will be applicable for all new transactions carried on or after date of effectiveness. I.e. 01 May 2010. Any reservations made prior to this date need not pay additional deposit amount unless any amendment in reservation has been made.
All the customers who make new bookings on and after 1st May 2010 will be liable to pay the new security deposit amount of $385 including GST.
